HILDA contract secured for 2012-2016

The Department of Families, Housing and Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) has awarded the contract for the Household, Income and Labour Dynamics  in Australia (HILDA) survey from 2012-2016 to the Melbourne Institute.

The next volume of the HILDA report will be issued in July, not that far away!

Commenting the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Paul Kofman stated ‘since 2000, the Melbourne Institute has been overseeing the design and administration of the HILDA Survey on behalf of the Australian Government. Over that period the HILDA Survey has made the transition into a mature, successful long-running household panel study, one among only a handful around the world that can make this claim.’

The next volume of the HILDA report will be issued in July of this year and B&E wishes to congratulate  Professor Mark Wooden and Associate Professor Roger Wilkins and all the HILDA team for not only this superb achievement but for producing such absorbing research that gives such a powerful insight into Australia over time.
