GSBE student Cameron McKenzie-McHarg is part of the Australian rowing team for London 2012 and is providing an audio diary of the Olympics for B&E.

Here in this his first diary he gives a real insight into the life of an Olympic athlete, speaks about the preparations he and his team undergo and outlines who will be Australia’s biggest competitors in this superb sport.

Cameron is part of the Men’s eight competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Rowing competitions are scheduled to be held from Saturday 28 July to Sunday 4 August.

Cameron and his team will have their first heat on the 28^th of July at 9.30pm Melbourne Time.
