Welcome to Professor Carole Comerton-Forde who has accepted the position of Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance in the Faculty. Carole’s research is in the area of market microstructure, with a focus on market liquidity and market integrity. Carole has published in the leading academic journals including the Journal of Finance and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis and has previously been a Professor of Finance at ANU, a Visiting Associate Professor at New York University, and a Visiting Economist at the New York Stock Exchange. Carole serves as a consultant for a number of stock exchanges and market regulators around the world. Carole received her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and her PhD from the University of Sydney.
