Melbourne Institute research sheds light on homelessness in Australia

Melbourne institute produces the largest and most comprehensive study on homelessness in the world, providing unique insights for policy makers, researchers and not for profit organisations. Journeys Home is a longitudinal study of homeless Australians and people who are at risk of homelessness over time.

The latest report, released in May 2015, found that 42% of all people released from the prison system become homeless.
