New online finance specialisation launched in partnership with BNY Mellon

Through this unique collaboration underwritten by BNY Mellon, the University will develop four publicly available courses along with a Capstone Project that, when combined, will constitute a ‘Finance Specialization’, to be delivered to learners world-wide via Coursera, one of the largest massive open online course (MOOC) providers with 11 million registered learners worldwide.

Professor Paul Kofman, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Associate Professor Sean Pinder will lead the development and teaching of the online course. Professor Kofman said the course “provided a unique opportunity to demonstrate the principles of corporate decision making in practice using BNY Mellon’s vast network of global financial experts.”

“The fact we have an opportunity to present this course is due recognition of the strength of the Faculty’s expertise in these fields.”
