Grants available to stage Diversity Week events

The University will celebrate Diversity Week, Monday 6 – Friday 10 August, with events organised by staff and students. Successful applicants will receive grants of up to $300 for their activity, which should support this year’s theme, Celebrating Diversity: Engage, Experience, Connect. Events can take the form of a single function, can run across a part or all of Diversity Week, can be organised for after 5:00pm or can be coordinated with external parties. The closing date for applications is Thursday, 7 June. For more information and online application:

The University of Melbourne Diversity and Inclusion Awards

Applications are sought for the inaugural University Diversity and Inclusion Awards. The Pro Vice Chancellor, Participation and Engagement, has made available $30,000 to recognise and reward members of the University community, including students and staff, who have made an outstanding contribution to diversity and inclusion. Up to three Awards of $10,000 each will be made.
