Technical Analysis Workshop Series

Wednesdays from 20th March, 5:30 – 6:30pm at 207 Bouverie Street, Room B117

What is Technical Analysis? It is the process of projecting future stock price movements, through the analysis of historical price charts. Our series on Technical Analysis, conducted by Math student, seasoned Trader and CAINZ committee member, Lennard Iosif. He is running a series of workshops throughout the semester covering the basics of this key trading skill.

Head of Publication

The Head of Publication will oversee the day to day running of all CAINZ Publications, in particular the publication of the CAINZ Digest, the only weekly student-run publication in the Faculty of Business and Economics, whilst working closely with the Director of Research, the editing team and the writers as well. We are seeking a motivated and committed individual with a close attention to detail who operates well under stress and can manage deadlines well. Ideally, you will have written for the CAINZ Digest before and know what it is all about. Individual consultations

Would you like some feedback about your written work?
Are you looking for some ideas about exam preparation strategies?

Learning Advisors in CELT are available to meet with graduate students in one-to-one appointments. Individual consultations can cover a range of topics, such as written assessment tasks, effective reading and writing skills. If your consultation is for a written assessment task, you can come at any stage in the writing process – planning, drafting, or editing.

An advisor can also talk with you about a variety of exam preparation strategies such as time management, keeping motivated and responding to exam questions.

A range of appointment times are available.  Further information is available on the CELT website where appointments can be made online .

GSA Presents: “Traffic: A Refereed Interdisciplinary Postgraduate Journal”

Research students – submit your research article to Traffic 13 ‘Refresh: Revisit, Revive, Revolt’ and be in the running for a $1000 prize, as well as picking up a refereed journal publication to add to your CV.

Traffic is a refereed interdisciplinary postgraduate journal published by the University of Melbourne Graduate Student Association (GSA). The journal aims to showcase the best of The University of Melbourne’s postgraduate community research, and to provide a forum for graduate students to present their work in an engaging and interesting style to a broader audience beyond their departmental peers.

Submissions close 31 May 2013.
