The Group of Twenty (G20) Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was initially established in 1999 to connect leading industrial and developing economies to discuss key issues that are affecting the global economy. The first Leaders’ Summit was held in Washington in November 2008.

PASSI: Peer Assisted Study and Skills Integration program

In Semester One, 2012, the PASSI program is available in the subjects:
• Quantitative Methods for Business
• Accounting for Decision Making
• Managerial Economics

The PASSI program offers small study groups, which are facilitated by a Peer Leader. In each group, you work with fellow students to revise lecture material in an informal environment. Your Peer Leader is available to help facilitate group discussion of ideas, concerns and questions. This is a really valuable opportunity to test your understanding of academic material.

The timetable will be released during Week One, and PASSI starts in Week Two.

Graduate Enrichment Program

The Graduate Enrichment Program is designed to help students, especially international students new to the academic culture in Australia, to develop the specific academic skills valued in the GSBE. A secondary aim of the sessions is to enhance students’ awareness of Australian life, culture and institutions. The sessions are meant to enrich students’ studies both academically and socially.

Sessions run every Friday, 12-2 pm in the Level One Lecture Theatre, The Spot.

Maths Refresher Program

Would you like to improve your basic maths skills? The Maths Refresher Program is for you. Workshops will commence in Week Two and will run for four weeks. Repeat sessions will run on Monday and Tuesday of each week. The Maths Refresher Program is primarily aimed at Master of Management students however interested students from other GSBE programs may also register.
